Dr. Kusum Bhat

Dr Kusum Bhat, Ph.D., is a certified Biofeedback specialist with a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and specializes in behavioral modification.

She has previously interned at the Children’s Hospital in Oakland, the Battered Women’s Alternative, the Hume Center in Concord, and the Contra Costa County Hospital Psychiatric Emergency Service and also worked as a mental health specialist at the Contra Costa County Hospital in Martinez, California.

She is currently the clinical director of the Concord Weight Loss Clinic, and a professor at the Saybrook University, San Francisco for doctorate students.

Dr Kusum Bhat has unique expertise in behavioral medicine, and how behavioral factors affect weight gain. Her doctoral dissertation was on The Role of Biofeedback Assisted Anger Control in Reversing Heart Disease. Moreover, she has also taught at the University of California, Berkeley and has held workshops all over the world on topics such as Heart and Anger Control, Emotional Intelligence by Self-disclosure and New Science of Slimming.

Dr. Naras Bhat

Certified/qualified in Stress Management. Dr. Bhat is trained to detect and treat the risk of overweight-obese conditions that might go undetected in non-medical weight loss programs. Born in India and educated in the West, Dr. Bhat connects Eastern disciplines with Western high-tech medicine.

Jyoti Bhat, MD

Jyoti Bhat received her B.S. from the University of California Davis. She received her M.D. degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She did her Internal Medicine residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA. She completed specialty fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism,

Anita Bhat, MD

Anita Bhat received her M.D. degree at Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at UCLA/VA Medical Center. Her Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellowship was completed at University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
